Medical Officer

The Southern Regional Health Authority (SRHA) is a statutory body under the Ministry of
Health responsible for the management and operation of Public Health Services within the
parishes of Clarendon, Manchester and St. Elizabeth. The Authority invites applications from
suitably qualified persons for the following position:

Medical Officer, (HPC/MO 1) – Three (3) Positions
May Pen Hospital - (Paediatric Ward)

Qualification and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School plus satisfactory completion of internship and
  Senior House Officer Programme;
• Registration with the Medical Council of Jamaica;
• Experience in disease surveillance and control would be an asset.

Required skills

• Sound basic clinical skills/acumen
• Good interpersonal skills with a multidisciplinary team/setting
